The Higher Education Professional Technical Association
Welcome to HEPTA, a voluntary, informal professional association for technical staff in third level education.
We are a community of technical staff in Universities, Institutes of Technology, Technological Universities and colleges. Our aim is to provide a platform for members to build professional networks with their peers and to help each other in our daily activities.
As a first step to fulfilling our aim, HEPTA's provides an e-mailing list that allows all members to ask the community questions. This will help us to be learn how similar problems we face have been tackled by our peers in other HEIs (Higher Education Institutions).
As an informal professional association we can grow and develop in ways that members wish. This may include conferences and/or continual professional development.
